[2025/2026] With lutenist Asako Ueda.
I Want to Show the World is a program dedicated to Maddalena Casulana, the first woman to publish her own music in 1568. Music that was dedicated to the famous patroness of the arts and musician Isabella de Medici. This program offers a glimpse into the world of female singers and composers from the 17th century, who were confronted with a choice at the time: enter the convent or remain autonomous, with the risk of falling into the shadow of scandal.
